ROSE MARY - $229,000

Sales Rep: Sara Fithian
Phone: 954-952-0116

ROSE MARY is a truly a one-of-a-kind Grand Banks 42 MotorYacht! Her knowledgeable and handy owners assisted in her extensive refit from 2017 – 2020 and accomplished a fantastic tasteful combination of traditional and modern.

Refinished throughout this vessel are renewed teak decking, teak parquet sole interior, shiplap headliner, modern white paint on select areas of non-teak interior, new double-pane windows and ports, and much more!

ROSE MARY features the popular two stateroom two heads with aft full beam master stateroom with walkaround island queen berth and head with separate stall shower. She features an expanded down galley with full-height refrigerator and dishwasher. Her VIP guest stateroom is forward featuring en suite head.

Inside you'll find numerous accents including hand-turned control knobs, marble and granite countertops, tile shower and the fantastic modern shiplap headliner which brightens the whole interior immensely.

ROSE MARY features all new tanks (holding, water, fuel), plumbing, and a refurbished electrical system for dependable cruising for years to come. All living spaces were insulated to provide comfort in both warm and cool weather. Her reliable Lehman 135 twin diesel engines will provide thousands of hours of economical cruising at 8.5 knots.

ROSE MARY is one of the nicest 42 Grand Banks of any vintage and has a very special charm. Her current owners thoroughly enjoyed her for three years in New England and are now offering her for sale!

She has been maintained by her knowledgeable owners and her engine room is pristine condition and shows much newer. She will not last long!

Step aboard this traditional yet updated Grand Banks 42 Motor Yacht from the port side opening rail onto refinished teak decks which have just been re-grooved, caulked with plugs replaced. You quickly notice the new stunning double-pane, tempered Low-E windows with white Awlgrip frames, Awlwood brightwork, and the recently buffed and waxed gelcoat. She features new Vetus frameless hatches with custom teak trim Sunbrella canvas bimini, weather cloths and cushions and much more!

Enter the salon through the port side door to her light and bright salon. Her salon features plentiful seating with an L-settee aft to starboard (converts to double berth), fixed high-low teak table with two chairs stowed port aft to add to the yacht table for dining, large chaise lounge settee to port forward.

The lower helm is situated to starboard forward and features custom hand-turned wood control knobs, side door and helm seat secured onto cabinet behind which features a wet bar with built-in bottle holders. Located port forward in the salon is a custom wooden breakfast bar, overlooking the down galley.

Heading down below three steps is the spacious U-shaped galley to port that has been remodeled and extended in 2017-2018. The standard layout features a utility space across from the galley on the starboard side. The current owner opened up this space and installed a full-height refrigerator. This allows for much more storage on the port side in drawers and cabinets. A large dishwasher was also added along with new granite tile countertops, teak butcher block, Force 10 3-burner propane range cooktop and oven, GE microwave, 3-stage water filtration system, large stainless-steel sink and more! The VIP Stateroom is forward and features a V-berth, en suite head and hanging locker.

Looking aft in the salon, stairs down to the full beam master stateroom (aft cabin) features walk-around queen berth with vanity/office desk w/stool, plentiful storage in drawers and hanging lockers, head and separate stall shower. Both heads onboard feature updated marble countertops with modern on-counter white sinks. The master stateroom stall shower features full tile throughout.

ROSE MARY features a spacious sun deck, perfect for deck chairs, table, deck box, etc. Her flybridge features a second helm station, fore and aft facing bench seating with new Sunbrella cushions, full-length Bimini for sunshade and weather cloths all new in 2019.

Both helms feature a fully wireless iPad system, Furuno 1st Watch 4kW digital wireless radar (2019), AIS and GPS receiver (Quark Electronics, 2019) configured to overlay on iPad charts and more.
